Structure of the Double-Cone Rotary Vacuum Drying System

2025 12/06

The double-cone rotary vacuum dryer is a versatile drying unit capable of extracting all types of solvents from filtration or centrifuge processes. Its central body features a dual-cone structure characterized by gentle curves. During system rotation, this configuration facilitates continuous mass rotation while enabling uniform and delicate mixing.

Within the drying chamber of the double-cone rotary vacuum dryer, two electronic lump breakers not only disrupt pre-existing agglomerates in wet powders—thereby preventing lump formation—but also enable grinding and pulverization during the final drying stage. This limits and, in some cases, eliminates the need for separate grinding equipment. This facilitates preparing bulk products for bagging or powdering while verifying the final particle size distribution, where subsequent operations are typically limited to screening stages.

The mechanical action of the chamber and lump crushers exposes the product surface to evaporation, enabling vacuum drying to be completed in a very short time at temperatures significantly lower than any other dryer. Specific solutions for automatic loading and unloading have been developed, along with cleaning and inspection procedures for the plant before changing batch types.
